Registration is now open for all qualified athletes whose results have been submitted by their State Games and entered into the online database. Once your results are in the database, the NSGA will send you a notification. But you can quickly find out by checking the 'My Results' tab on the registration website. Here is how it works:
- Go to the NSGA's registration website: https://www.nsga.hangastar.com/registration
- Create an account or log in with your account #.
- Click the 'Account' tab to double-check your profile information. To make changes, click on 'edit account'.
- Click on the 'My Results' tab to verify all of your qualified events have been loaded into the system. As states report their qualified athletes, the 'My Results' tab will indicate your qualification status. If there are no results on your 'My Results' page, please be patient - your state results have just not been loaded yet. If you believe your results in the database are incorrect, please contact your State Games to resolve the issue.
- From the 'My Results' page, click on 'Register Now' next to any qualified event. Only the events you are qualified for will be available for registration.
Team Captains - Please note you are the only one who can register your team for Nationals. The entire team roster from the State Level is linked to your team name. Once you register your team, you must confirm or decline each player from your state roster. To do this, go to the 'My Registration' tab and follow the instructions.
IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind you may only register once. After you complete your registration and payment, you may not change anything about your registration. Make sure you wait until all of your qualified events are in the system (step 4 above explains how to do this) before you register. If you have already competed in a State Games in 2008 but intend to participate in an additional Games during the remainder of the year, we advise you to not register until after those results have been entered. Registration will close February 27, 2009.
Demonstration Sports
Registration for our seven demonstration sports (Equestrian, Fencing, Lawn Bowling, Rowing, Sailing, Soccer and Water Polo) will open this November. Demonstration sports are open to all athletes who will be 50 years of age by December 31, 2008. There is no qualifying for these competitions. Details about registering for the demonstration sports will be released here in November.
